Already this year, two mission teams have been commissioned by FUMC to Eleuthera, one of the outer islands of the Bahamas, to show Christ's love to the residents there. Under the auspice of the Bahamas Methodist Habitat, these dedicated volunteers helped to improve the living conditions of an 87-year-old gentleman, and a hard working, loving parent and his 5-year old son. Working to provide some basic needs, the mission teams were able to give these residents some luxuries which most of us take for granted. The teams also invested sweat equity into improvements of Camp Symonette to provide comforts of home for future BMH volunteers. Click here to read more about these missions.
