Sundays for Kids

Our 5^th graders are a special group of elementary students; not young elementary children anymore, but not quite youth. They are “tweens”! This is a special year for them as they prepare to move on to middle school and high school years. We have prepared an “Essentials” class just for them; a pre-confirmation class of sorts.

This class will be held on Sunday mornings on the 4^th floor from 9:30-10:30. The children will learn the essential elements of what it means to be A United Methodist, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Apostles ’ Creed; all about Baptism and Communion. Who Jesus is and Choosing to be a Christian. All pieces are 4 to 6 weeks and are designed to help tweens prepare for confirmation. By working through the fun activities, puzzles, and games in this multi-topic series, pre-teens will learn the basic fundamentals of Christian worship with some things that are unique about the United Methodist Church.

This class will be lead by Lois Jablonski, Kristin Epstein and Celeste and Marion Cooper.

Weekday Ministries

 Parents' Morning Out

A Monday through Friday drop-in program for children 6 months to 2 years, from 9-12 noon. Children’s activities include outdoor play, music, crafts, games, snacks and other special activities while Mom or Dad have time for themselves.

Preschool program for children ages 2-4 years of age, designed to give these children a solid foundation upon which to build their formal education and spiritual life.

An evening of choir, dinner, games and Bible study for children 2 years to 5^th grade.
