Message from the Senior Pastor, David Miller

Over the years I have come to love the body of Christ – the church. Outside of God’s Spirit, it is the best expression of grace, mercy, love and healing that exists in this world. That does not mean it is without its share of bumps and bruises, mistakes and stumbles. Yet, when it is filled with God’s Spirit, there is nothing that compares when it comes to transforming our world into the Kingdom of God. If you want to be a part of something that is powerful and eternal, then come to church.

With this in mind, I invite you to explore this local expression of the church. First United Methodist is filled with folks who sincerely desire to not only become like Jesus Christ, but to help others experience that transformation as well! We believe that we are on a part of a journey that brings life – abundant and eternal. And we want you to join us as we travel this path!

Most of all we pray that God will fill you with His Spirit and that together we will be the “salt” and “light” that Christ called us to be!
