Youth Ministry

Have you ever wished that you could be part of a group that accepted you for who you are?  Are you searching for a place to figure out what you believe and how to live it out?  Or are you a follower of Jesus Christ, ready to be challenged in your walk with God and looking for a group of believers to help you on your way?

No matter which description fits you best, if you're a student in grades 6-12, that's what you'll find in Uth--the youth ministry of First United Methodist Church.  Uth is a fun way to meet new people, make new friends, eat, worship with other believers your age, and get the chance to work through some of your most difficult questions about life, God, and faith.

We value an intellectual knowledge and commitment to Jesus Christ, but believe that such faith also requires a surrender of the heart and soul to the purposes of God.  

We are committed to teaching these principles on Sunday evenings, Wednesday nights, and in our small group studies and special events, in a relevant, practical way...because the truth of Jesus Christ is our ultimate concern.
